i hate when i try to give someone perspective and they complain about it
you’re deployed in afghanistan and we’re talking and you say “omg the internet here sucks, seriously.” “ugh there’s no girls here” “4 months is so longg”
1. at least you have internet.
2. you have a girlfriend of 4 years in texas who’s madly in love with you
3. 4 months is NOT that long to be deployed for
so when i remind you of this, please spare me the complaints.
i’m just trying to remind you that your life isn’t that bad, okay? sorry for trying to be positive. and don’t threaten to stop talking to me. i’m the only person from home who’s talked to you since you left besides your girlfriend apparently.
ughhhhhh. i hate that i’m upset about this. letting my anger go…..now.
